Commissions are currently not available, but shall soon be open. How about, in the meanwhile, you prepare yourself with a warm-up on how to commission art? This is a useful guide on how to commission art.
While not currently doing commissions, baby Sofia has a particular and iconic style for doing commissions. She has a variety of themes and subjects that she paints on: fictional cats, women and girls of the world, fashion figures from around the world, faces, cartoon and comic faces and figures, botanical elements, mountains, homes, children, fictional pet & animals world and universes, handmade jewelry.
The client chooses a broad theme. Sofie then asks them to pick a few elements to go into the painting. For example: would they like a house? A tree? If the painting is of a fashion figure, Sofie can even break the commission down into the style and length of hair, facial features, clothing and jewelry — those this sort of commission is actually a game, and normal commissions are not that complicated though they potentially can be, which is the point. This young artist breaks things down into fine detail before taking in all the input and rendering it into a work of art. Once again, this detailed commission is actually a game that she has designed and likes to play, and this game may be presented as a specialized form of commission.
The usual commission takes in a few inputs, which can be as few as the client basically picking one of the categories she likes to paint, and then even leaving the choice of the final outcome to her. For example:
You may commission “a space cat”. Or, “a space cat with orange and silver suit”.
Or: “A mountain-side scenery”, “A mountain-side scenery with a few animals and a house”… “a few animals but no house or building”…. “with/without trees”….”with/without wildflowers” and so on.
Like Artificial Intelligence, this child takes prompts and renders them into a highly-personalized and specific painting! She has has hundreds of hours of training and several courses at her disposal, and has chosen to independently, under the guidance and input of her designer-coder mother, chosen to develop her practice.
She charges rates commensurate with the effort and attention she pours into her works, which are works of aesthetic and quality. Her mother sometimes supervises her art, and is her overall teacher, guide, and feeder of prompts.
Our unique learning and teaching methodology is being turned into courses and will be available soon across our channels. Regards.
